SHOWTIME Programming To Now Premiere On CraveTV

CraveTV announced that, for the first time ever, new and returning SHOWTIME programming will debut on CraveTV. SHOWTIME’s award-winning hit series, specials, and documentaries will begin streaming on CraveTV day-and-date with their broadcast premieres on SHOWTIME in the U.S., beginning with acclaimed drama The Affair on Sunday, November 20th at 10pm.

As a result of the new strategy, CraveTV subscribers can look forward to new SHOWTIME programming on the service every single week, in addition to CraveTV’s weekly roll-out of additional new content every week on #iCraveFridays.

“Launching SHOWTIME in a first-window on CraveTV is a true game-changer for the service and for Canada’s TV lovers,” said Tracey Pearce, President of Distribution and Pay at Bell Media, in a press release. “Offering subscribers streaming access to one of the best collections of content in the world, without delay, immediately makes CraveTV an unmatched value proposition.”

“SHOWTIME is on a roll, delivering some of the best shows anywhere. Now, with today’s announcement, CraveTV subscribers can enjoy SHOWTIME series first, as part of our newly supercharged SHOWTIME Collection,” said Mike Cosentino, Senior Vice-President of CTV and Specialty at Bell Media.

Following the November 20th premiere of The Affair on CraveTV, subscribers can look forward to upcoming all-new seasons of SHOWTIME series Billions (February 19th at 10pm), Dice, Episodes, and Ray Donovan. Brand-new SHOWTIME series premiering on CraveTV in 2017 include the greatly anticipated David Lynch drama Twin Peaks, the dramedy I’m Dying Up Here, created by Canadian Jim Carrey, and limited series Guerilla, starring Idris Elba. Also coming to CraveTV are new seasons of Homeland (Season 5) and Masters of Sex (Season 4).
