The BMW driver who got stuck on a barricade because he refused to be patient was someone who deserved what happened to him. The same can be said about the two idiots who ended up stuck because neither of them wanted to give way to the other, so they also deserved what occurred to them. But the innocent dude below? All the dude below wanted to do was showcase his love of tunes, and all that he got was into an accident.
Travis Carpenter was traveling from Indianapolis to Whitewater, WI, and going 70mph. The only problem was that it was raining quite heavily. But that didn’t stop Travis from singing a Casting Crowns song and pretending like he was on The Voice, hoping to get one of those chairs turned. Unfortunately for Travis the only thing that turned was his car. Take a look at poor Travis losing his shit.
Apparently Travis’ car hydroplaned and caused his vehicle to slide off the road and barrel roll down an embankment. Wow.
Here’s what happened according to Travis:
…At this point I was practicing a nasal type voice on a Casting Crowns song when the crash happened. I was watching the road and saw nothing that caused me to worry. Simply hydroplaned in a heavy rain. My car slid sideways, and then was completely backwards by the time I slid off the road and went down a small hill. I hit a mile marker sign (230) on my way off the road. Here are two of the most amazing parts: I sustained NO injuries. Not even a scratch. And my car took NO mechanical damage and is completely driveable. Only body damage.
Luckily for Travis he didn’t suffer any injures, but now anytime he sings a Casting Crowns song he will be reminded of the day where his voice caused a crash. Probably.
