A giant Radiohead logo has been painted in the grass of the Glastonbury festival site, sparking further speculation that the band will headline the event next year.
Radiohead have not appeared at Glasto since 2011, but they have been heavily tipped to make their return next year. The appearance of the band’s iconic Bear logo at Worthy Farm certainly adds credibility to this rumour, though as per usual festival-goers likely won’t receive any official confirmation regarding the event’s headliners until next year.

Radiohead were rumoured to headline Glastonbury 2017 by the festival website eFestival, which also claimed that The Stone Roses and Daft Punk were also being lined up for the Pyramid Stage. Festival organiser Michael Eavis’ daughter Emily has previously stated that two of the three headliners have already been confirmed.
Radiohead previously played a surprise set during Glastonbury 2011, with the band popping up at the Park Stage in order to play tracks from In Rainbows and King of Limbs. They last headlined the festival way back in 2003, around the release of their sixth album Hail to the Thief.
