The Killers celebrated the 10 year anniversary of their seminal sophomore album, Sam’s Town, by releasing a vinyl re-issue that includes a never-before-released demo from those sessions, entitled “Peace of Mind.”
The Sin City four-piece, which consists of Brandon Flowers (vocals/keyboards), Dave Keuning (guitars), Mark Stoermer (bass) and Ronnie Vannucci (drums) took over the Sam’s Town Hotel and Gambling Hall in Las Vegas last weekend for a post-ironic Decennial Extravaganza. Fans gambled on Sam’s Town-themed blackjack tables, indulged in specialty themed meals and cocktails inspired by The Killers’ songs and sang every word during full performances of Sam’s Town and other hits from the band’s celebrated catalog.

All the good fun was for a good cause as proceeds from the event benefitted Las Vegas charities Toni’s House and First Friday Foundation. Go here to purchase the vinyl re-issue and here to stream “Peace of Mind” on Spotify.
