Chris Leak is being investigated for the sexual assault of a 16-year-old girl, according to the Orlando Sentinel.
The former Florida Gators quarterback helped lead the team to a national championship alongside Tim Tebow in 2007. After a brief stint in the NFL and CFL, he worked for the Gators football team before joining Edgewater High School (FL) this past year to coach their football team. It was at the school on Sept. 5 where the alleged sexual assault took place.
Leak, 31-years-old, allegedly asked the 16-year-old to give him a massage in the athletic trainer’s office before things got extremely inappropriate.
He came out from the shower wearing only a towel, the report said.
The girl told detectives that she massaged his back legs and he asked her to massage the front of his legs, the report said.
According to the report, the girl told detectives Leak then pulled her hands up to touch his genitals.
She told police her hand grazed his genitals a few times, according to the report.
The girl then left.
The report also says he called the girl later and bought her food. It also says Leak gave a friend of the victim $100 after she told her what happened.
Leak resigned from Edgewater High School after the sexual assault was reported Monday. His team was 0-5 so far this season.
