Canadian hip-hop artist The Weeknd has been teasing fans with new album artwork and new haircuts via social media – he released the cover of his upcoming album, which we now know is called Starboy and is scheduled for release in November.
The new album also shows The Weeknd (born Abel Tesfaye) with a much shorter hairdo.
The single “Starboy,” featuring Daft Punk, was released on Thursday as well.
The Starboy album will follow-up Kiss Land (2013) and Beauty Behind the Madness (2015), which became the most-streamed album of 2015 with over 60 million listeners. He held the top 3 spots on Billboard charts with three separate tracks, making him the only artist to do so. He’s also won two Grammy Awards and he has been nominated for an Academy Award.
