Cubs’ Ben Zobrist Rode Bike To Wrigley In Full Uniform

Chicago Cubs All-Star Ben Zobrist has been a bit of a journeyman throughout his career; he’s a player known as a jack of all trades who can play multiple positions. Now as a Chicago Cub who is part of the best team in baseball so far this season, he’s officially the most likable player in the game.

The Illinois native now lives about a mile from Wrigley Field, so when his team clinched the division title this weekend he decided there was only one way to have some added fun — ride the ballpark in his full uniform with his son.

Added bonus points: the PF Flyers, which of course, are guaranteed to make a kid run faster and jump higher.

My man is an old soul who plays old school baseball. @cubs

The Cubs are the heavy favorites to win the World Series this fall. It would be the team’s first since 1908 and would break the longest championship draught in sports history.

If the Cubs do take the Series we’re giving Ben and his PF Flyers all the credit. And don’t be surprised if every single Cubs player is encouraged to ride their bike to the ballpark from now on. I can’t wait to see that parade!
