The Tampa Bay Lightning curb stomped the visiting Toronto Maple Leafs 3-0 Monday night, and it probably had something to do with the fact that Tampa Bay is a very talented team that sits atop the Atlantic Division while Toronto is the worst team in the league.
Despite being shut out Monday night, however, there is one positive thing Maple Leafs players and fans can take away from the game, and that’s the fact that nobody was better at accidentally hocking a loogie on someone skating past the bench than Toronto goalie Jonathan Bernier:
And just when we thought it couldn’t get any crazier than an accidental spitting being so perfectly timed and placed, there’s a grown man at a professional hockey game dressed up like a NASA astronaut dancing to one hell of a catchy tune to prove us wrong.
