There are “get rich quick” schemes and then there are “Canadian pop stars mentioning you once on Instagram” schemes. In this case, the latter has turned into the former.
Remember Cindy Kimberly? That girl with two first names that Justin Bieber stalked and asked his preteens fans about? Well ever since that little creep asked the world “omg who is this?” Kimberly has been bombarded with modeling offers and is about to take off into a big pile of money.
“It seems like a fairytale. A friend of mine often used to joke that one day I’d be one of the girls he talked about and I didn’t believe her,” the 17-year-old told the Daily Mail. “My life’s changed positively since Justin appeared in my life. At the beginning I felt completely overwhelmed and didn’t know how to deal with it but now I’m getting used to it.”
Before all this hoopla Kimberly was making about four dollars an hour babysitting, and now she will be making her catwalk debut at Madrid Fashion Week next month proving that all you need is an annoying pop star to mention you in order to make all your modeling dreams come true.
“I’ve had a lot of job offers since all this happened. I’m constantly receiving calls offering me things, but I’m focused on my studies and fashion commitments I’d already made,” Kimberly explains, trying not to laugh when she said the part about continuing to focus on her studies.
Kimberly now has close to 700K followers on Instagram ever since Bieber messed his pants about her, and has continued to field tons of modeling offers. So I think it’s pretty safe to say this gal will be making tons of cash in the future while we continue to post our dessert on Instagram and wait on a shout out from Guy Fieri.
