Watch This Genius Kid Solve A Rubik’s Cube In Less Than Five Seconds

It’s not like I was actively searching for something to further prove my worthlessness, but this clip sure did the trick anyway.

First it was Leonardo da Vinci, then along came Nikola Tesla. And he was followed by Albert Einstein. Now it looks as though we can add 14-year-old Lukas Etter to the list of the biggest geniuses this planet has ever known.

At Saturday’s River Hill Fall 2015, a Rubik’s Cube competition held at River Hill High School in Clarksville, Maryland, Etter bested his own personal record of solving a Rubik’s Cube by 0.6 seconds and set the world record in the process when he solved it in … wait for it … 4.9 seconds.

Thankfully, somebody captured video of Etter’s feat, but be forewarned: It’s going to blow your mind.
