Ohio High School Football Team Loses Game While Celebrating Blocked Field Goal

If we’re talking about a high school football game in Ohio, that usually means either something even crazier than my ex-girlfriend took place or Lisa Ann was in the stands scouting for prom dates.

Sadly, this isn’t a story about the latter.

According to Thunder Treats, the Warren G. Harding Raiders were clinging to a 14-12 lead over the visiting Boardman Spartans as the Spartans lined up for what would have been the game-winning field goal.

Unfortunately for the Spartans, the Raiders blocked the kick and ran down to the other end zone to celebrate with the rest of their teammates as fireworks went off behind them.

But even more unfortunate for the Raiders was the fact that the blocked kick was still a live ball. And since the majority of the Raiders were whipping and nae-naeing at the other end of the field, all the Spartans had to do was pick it up and casually jog it into the end zone that mattered for the win.
