If redshirt freshman Adam Lane was nervous about being the feature back for pretty much the first time in his collegiate career, he did a rather poor job of masking it.
According to Deadspin, the Florida running back pooped his pants sometime before he ran for a two-yard touchdown in Saturday’s win over East Carolina in the Birmingham Bowl.
After a coach/new best friend wrapped a towel around Lane, the running back changed his drawers and was good to go for the Gators’ next series:
Lane was anything but a mess the rest of the time he was on the field, as that touchdown along with his 109 rushing yards were good enough to earn him Birmingham Bowl MVP, which of course was up for interpretation after his mishap:
