Conan O’Brien is a self-described creep who kept hearing his staff members rave about Tinder and found himself intrigued. But since he’s a 51-year-old redhead, he enlisted the help of “hot, young Hollywood stud” Dave Franco to see what the buzz was all about.
Conan and Franco chose to use their own pictures as they were setting up their profiles, but decided to use different names, with Conan choosing ol’ Chip Whitley and Dave Franco going with Djangus Roundstone, of course.
What exactly were the guys hoping to find with their little experiment? Perhaps Conan said it best when he told Franco, “I’m looking for that special someone who is going to change my life for a period of like twenty minutes.”
Sure, the video is just over 12 minutes in length, but it’s 12 minutes of absolute hilarity. And it only gets more hilarious once they introduce the “Tinder” van.
