High School Basketball Game Ends With Nearly Impossible Shot, Disappointment

If you’ve ever played H-O-R-S-E, you know there are literally thousands of difficult shots you can make to put the pressure on your opponent. But to actually shoot the ball at the basket and have it end up resting on the back iron of the hoop is almost impossible. If you had a million tries at it you still might come up empty. However, that is exactly how regulation ended in a recent high school basketball game between Prosser and Grandview (located in Washington State). After a turnover by Prosser, Grandview went on a fast break and had a chance for a game-winner, but the shot ended with the ball simply resting on the rim as time expired. What a letdown. However, Grandview reportedly went on to win 72-70 in OT. That’s great news for the kid who missed his chance at glory.
