The 2016 Just For Laughs Comedy Tour announced that superstar comedian Dane Cook will star in the 16th edition of the annual comedy tour this fall, and tickets go on sale for shows from Ontario to BC on September 16th at 10am.
The JFL Tour will see Dane Cook, and his friends Vinny Fasline and John Campanelli, play in prestigious theatres and intimate arenas in Canada from Ontario to British Columbia beginning November 2nd in London, Ontario and wrapping up in Vancouver, British Columbia on November 19th.
Cook is one of the biggest ticket-sellers in the history of comedy. In 2013, he returned to the Montreal stage to host an absolutely explosive, opening night, sold out Gala at the Just For Laughs Festival. He has sold out numerous arenas and theaters throughout his career including Madison Square Garden, where he sold out two shows in one night.
Cook has also released eight comedy albums/specials and in 2006, and his special Retaliation became the highest charting comedy album in 28 years, earning him a place alongside best-selling comedy vets George Carlin and Steve Martin. He has guest starred in popular TV shows as well, like Louie opposite Louis CK and Workaholics on The Comedy Network. Some of his other film credits include starring roles in My Best Friends’ Girl opposite Kate Hudson, Dan In Real Life opposite Steve Carrell and Mr. Brooks opposite Kevin Costner.
His next project will be American Gods, Bryan Fuller’s TV adaptation of Neil Gaiman’s classic novel where Cook will play best friend Robbie.
