After five years, the digital-first Injustice: Gods Among Us comic book series is rapidly approaching the events of the first blockbuster video game in the series!
For far too long, Batman and the resistance have been unable to defeat Superman and the members of the Justice League who followed his brutal example while dominating the Earth. However, Batman’s recent ally, Deathstroke the Terminator has succeeded in smuggling out a critical blueprint of a Motherbox from New Genesis, the first step in Bruce Wayne’s plan to get help from another dimension!
This week’s Injustice: Year Five Chapter # 37 takes us to Earth One, a more idealistic world where Superman is about to be a father, and he’s still on good terms with Batman and the other heroes. But in CraveOnline’s exclusive preview, Lex Luthor has assembled a team of villains to strike the heart of the heroes. The battle glimpsed in the opening moments of Injustice: Gods Among Us is about to arrive.
