Next month, Supernatural season 11 is heading to Blu-ray and DVD, as The CW’s longest running series proved once again that it’s not out of tricks yet! Throughout the eleventh season, Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean Winchester (Jensen Ackles) attempted to stop Amara, the one foe that even God couldn’t handle on his own!
The Winchesters’ most loyal ally (who is still alive) is still Castiel (Misha Collins), an angel who has fallen pretty far from Heaven in his time on this series. If anything, Cas is remarkably human at this point. In this exclusive scene from “Our Little World” – the sixth episode of season 11 – Cas demonstrates just how much he’s learned about what people need to hear when he convinces an anchorwoman to unintentionally help him find Metatron (Curtis Armstrong).

Here’s a little background on this scene: After his own fall from Heaven, Metatron was essentially pulling a Nightcrawler and selling footage to a news station to get by. Given where Metatron ended up this season, this episode marked an important step in his evolution.
Supernatural: The Complete Eleventh Season will be available on Blu-ray and DVD on Tuesday, September 6. The 12th season will haunt The CW on October 13. And at this point, would anyone bet against the series getting a 13th season?
