In the world of comics, there are few characters more closely tied to their motorcycle than Johnny Blaze, Marvel’s Ghost Rider from the ’70s. Nic Cage starred in two Ghost Rider movies as Marvel’s Spirit of Vengeance, but now one lucky fan is going to have a chance to bring a Ghost Rider inspired motorcycle home.
Via io9, Marvel and Harley-Davidson have unveiled a series of custom made motorcycles based on and inspired by Marvel’s iconic heroes and villains. 25 custom bikes were created by Harley-Davidson dealerships in Australia and New Zealand, and unfortunately, they are not for sale. However, they are available to win if you live in either of those two countries!
On Harley-Davidson’s official site for the custom bikes, Paul Lewis from Morgan & Wacker Harley-Davidson Brisbane wrote that “Passion, blood, sweat and tears went into this project. It was built for the Ghost Rider and we are convinced he would kill to ride it too! The Road Glide Special provided a big canvas for a Super Hero with attitude, chains, fire and an evil dark side. The paint is phenomenal and there’s plenty of room in the panniers to collect any lost souls!”

The other custom motorcycles include Captain America, Spider-Man, Hulk, Black Panther, Thanos, Thor, Iron Man, Ultron, Groot, Spider-Gwen, Black Widow, Wasp, The Punisher, Ant-Man, and Hulk. Note that there are no X-Men or Fantastic Four characters involved in this promotion, which only feeds the perception that Marvel is intentionally giving them a smaller role in the company’s merchandising plans.
There is also a trailer that shows off part of the creation of the Captain America motorcycle with a glimpse of the other custom creations.
