CraveOnline Will Host Three Panels at Long Beach Comic Con

Next month, the annual Long Beach Comic Con is returning to the Long Beach Convention Center for another two-day festival of comic books and pop culture. And CraveOnline is going to be presenting three of the panels on this year’s programming schedule!

CraveOnline’s TV and Comic Book Editor Blair Marnell (that’s me!) will be hosting panels devoted to DC’s Teen Titans, Star Wars, and a spotlight on three of the biggest names in the voiceover industry. On Saturday, September 17 at 12:30pm, I’ll be discussing the History of the Teen Titans with New Titans co-creator, Marv Wolfman, Titans artist Brett Booth, and Teen Titans: Rebirth artist Jonboy Meyers as they share the influences that went into their contributions to DC’s popular teenage superheros.

Also on Saturday, at 3pm, I’ll be hosting The Star Wars Perspectives panel with Star Wars Rebels writer Greg Weisman, Star Wars artists Brian Miller and Mike Mayhew (whose work on Marvel’s Star Wars comic can be seen directly above this paragraph). We’ll also be joined by Craig Miller, Lucasfilm’s Director of Fan Relations from 1977 to 1980 as he and the rest of the panel share their unique Star Wars experiences.

On Sunday, September 18 at 1:30pm, we’re celebrating The Art of Voice Over (as Told By the Best!) with the voice of Batman himself, Kevin Conroy (pictured above), fan-favorite video game and animation voiceover actor Troy Baker, and Anime superstar, Tara Jayne Sands. That powerhouse trio of voices are going to share some information about their current projects as well as their origin stories about how they first broke into the business!

That’s it for our contribution to the Long Beach Comic Con, but there will be a full lineup of programming events at the show, along with a dealers room and a very impressive lineup of comic book creators and media guests. You can still get tickets for Long Beach Comic Con by clicking this link and visiting the official site.
