A bus carrying media members covering the Rio Olympics was shot at Tuesday night while leaving an arena in the city following a basketball match.
According to reports, the bus was hit several times, knocking out windows. No one was seriously hurt. However, at least two people were cut from the shattered glass.

The shooting happened close to Barra and the Olympic Park en route back to the media center.
A photographer working for the Press Association who was on board at the time of the incident, said: ‘We were travelling from the hockey venue to the Main Press Centre. I was sitting at the back. There was a popping, cracking noise.
‘The bus didn’t come to a stop but paused. Everyone was on the floor so I got on the floor as well.
‘The bus driver stopped the bus about half a minute afterwards. People started shouting ‘just keep going’. After a couple of minutes we had a police escort.
Lee Michaelson of Hoopsfeed had the first-hand account on Twitter.

A statement from the International Olympic Committee read in part:
‘The security authorities are now investigating the incident and we await their report before making further comment.”
It was just four days ago a bullet hit the Rio Olympics media center.
It’s Rio. Welcome to hell.
