OVO Fest 2016 took place over the weekend in Toronto, with Drake performing a two-hour-plus show on Sunday night, surprising fans with a visit from his supposed other half Rihanna.
It was Riri’s first time at the OVO Fest, where she performed “Needed Me” and “Bitch Better Have My Money,” before “Work” and “Too Good.” She told the sold-out crowd, ““It feels good to be back here!” Rihanna performed two concerts in Toronto earlier this year, surprising fans with Drake at her second show.
Other performers at this year’s OVO Fest included Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa at the Molson Canadian Amphitheatre Friday night, Machel Montano at Echo Beach Saturday night and Drizzy with Future on Sunday and Monday nights at the Air Canada Centre.
OVO Fest is an annual music festival hosted by OVO Sound, the Canadian record label founded by rapper Drake and music producer Noah “40” Shebib. The festival is held in Toronto and has welcomed performances from such talent as Jay Z, Lauryn Hill, Stevie Wonder, Snoop Dogg and comedian Kevin Hart.
