The new line-up of robots that will compete in the upcoming reboot of Robot Wars have been revealed, with it set to include both old and new faces… er, robots.
The likes of fan favorites Behemoth and Razer are set to make a comeback, with 40 robots in total appearing across five episodes of the new series. The sixth and final episode will feature the grand final of the new tournament, where the very best of these robots will square off against one another in a fight to the metallic death.
Dara Ó Briain and Angela Scanlon are set to host the new show, an announcement with had many old-school fans of the old BBC show up in arms due to the broadcaster seemingly overlooking its original host Craig Charles. Fortunately, familiar House Robots Dead Metal, Matilda, Shunt and the formidable Sir Killalot are all set to make a reappearance, so viewers should expect to feel right at home when the series makes its return to BBC Two later this month.
