Meet Jessica Cruz and Simon Baz, Earth’s two newest Green Lanterns. This sector’s not big enough for the both of them, but it’s gonna have to be!
None other than Hal Jordan himself has laid down the law to the Green Lantern Corps’ latest recruits. They have to partner up and defend the Earth, even though they can’t stand each other. And right about now, Earth could really use some of that dual GL action, as the Red Lanterns have returned and they’re setting up shop on our planet!
CraveOnline’s exclusive preview for Green Lanterns # 2 finds Jessica surrounded by a horde of rage infected people, including her own sister. Simon’s rescue attempt does not go over well with his “partner,” and it looks like Jessica is going to try to go solo even though it’s probably a bad idea at a time like this. After all, they haven’t run into the Red Lanterns yet and they’re already losing the battle for Earth!
The creative team for this series is writer Sam Humphries, artist Robson Rocha, and inker Jay Leisten. Here’s DC Comics’ solicitation text for the second issue:
