SBS has just announced that it will be bringing a second series of its acclaimed series The Family Law to the air after the hilarious comedy was renewed for another season.
The creation of Australian writer Benjamin Law, the series reflects back on Law’s childhood through his eyes as a 14-year old; recreating scenes from his life growing up in a hilariously dysfunctional Chinese-Australian family.
Its first season was praised by critics for its role in breaking apart the whitewashing of Australian television and was also very, very funny.
The new season is set to premiere in early 2017, with both the SBS and Benjamin Law making the announcement via their respective Twitter pages.
