Fox announced Tuesday they are moving Josh Trank’s Fantastic Four film from March 2015 to June 19, 2015. The move, according to Crave’s Collider website, pits the FF against the dinosaurs of Jurassic World, which opens a week earlier on June 12.
Just a month ago, Fox was still testing actors to fill the four iconic roles of Reed and Susan Richards, Ben Grimm and Johnny Storm. So while it’s probably smart to give the production a little more time, this does only add to a 2015 summer that also includes The Avengers: Age of Ultron, Batman vs. Superman, Ant-Man, Independence Day 2 and Terminator 5. Can you say meat grinder?
