The only thing more powerful than Mjolnir or the dark evil coming to destroy us in Thor: The Dark World is the commercialism that will follow. Marvel, Disney and all those involved with the film will come gunning for your hard earned dollar.
From fast food tie-ins to exclusive toys at massive chains, replicating Thor and all his friends is going to be big business. Problem is, the movie tie-in toys are usually cheap lame. 10 Wicked Awesome Thor Toys
10. HOMER THOR
I realize this should be #1, but after an exhaustive internet search, I’m pretty sure this replica of Homer Simpson as the God of Thunder is a one-of-a-kind. However, if you can afford to make it happen, you know you want it!!

These Dark Horse statues are a class act all the way. Cast in resin, standing 5 inches tall, and detailed to a fault, this Dark Horse statue is dedicated to the original Jack Kirby interpretation of Thor. Not to mention the attractive collectors tin and awesome Kirby Thor button.
7. MARVEL SELECT THOR

Why buy some cheap Chris Hemsworth Target figure, when you can get the full glory of a Marvel Select Thor? Taken from J. Michael Straczynski’s Thor series, this detailed and heavily articulated figure comes with a new chain-mail costume, a removable hammer, and new helmet. One of the better Marvel Select figures to come out.
6. SILVER SURFER SERIES BETA RAY BILL
Retails For: $24
From the mind of genius comic writer/artist Walt Simonson comes a monster from an alien world who turns out to be heroic enough to wield Mjolnir, Bill and Thor were initially adversaries, but ultimately became allies. Now Bill wields his own hammer, the mighty Stormbreaker. There are several toy versions of the character, but this one is shiny. Shiny boots, shiny Stormbreaker, shiny armor. The best of the lot.
5. STORMBREAKER SCALE REPLICA PROP
Retails For: $450
It doesn’t get much better than this. A 14-pound scale replica of Beta Ray Bill’s Stormbreaker hammer. Gold plated, with a wooden collector’s display stand. Currently, these replicas are out of production, so snap one up if you find it.
4. MJOLNIR REPLICA HAMMER
If Stormbreaker isn’t your idea of true power, then step up to this full sized replica of Mjolnir. Made of “aged” steel with a handle made of worn leather to look exactly like the character’s hammer. this hard to find replica is sixteen pounds of awesome.
3. HOT TOYS MASTERPIECE LOKI FIGURE
Retails For: $400
Few things come close to the Hot Toys line of figures, and while I usually go strictly for the comic characters, this version of Tom Hiddleston as Loki is super badass. Incredibly lifelike and finely detailed, this Loki also comes with twenty-odd different accessories. It’s a lot of cash for a figure, but Hot Toys makes it worth the empty wallet.
2. RANDY BOWEN THOR STATUE
Retails For: $600
Nobody comes close to the brilliance of Randy Bowen’s statues. This Thor “Classic Action” piece is no different. Just look at the hammer-swing action. Stare at it long enough and you’ll swear it’s moving. Bowen has yet to make a bad statue, but this Thor piece is one of his best.
1. MEGO THOR
Retails For: $900 and up (Photo Link )
No better way to celebrate Thor than kicking it old school. I’ll be honest, a complete loose Thor, with original hammer and helmet, will hit around five bills. A complete Thor in box or on original card can net up to $4,000 if flawless. Not being a lord in Asgard, these prices might seem a bit high. Loose original Mego Thor dolls with replica hammers and helmets can average a much more reasonable $45 to $100 bucks.
