Dakota Johnson openly admired her co-star Anne Hathaway and said she could keep kissing her. Verity cast opened up about their experience in the movie in an exclusive interview with ExtraCast while on their press tour.
When the host asked, “We want to make you choose, but if you were to choose, [laughter] who would be the best kisser? And if you don’t want to choose, I’m not going to put you on the spot.”
While discussing that, Johnson, who kissed both her co-stars in the film, replied, “I would kiss Annie for the rest of my life every day.”
The cast admitted they were surprised nobody got sick after they all kissed each other while filming. Hathaway added, “It’s a miracle nobody got sick.”
Josh Hartnett revealed the cast developed a good working relationship and enjoyed their time. According to The Blast, he said, “We had a fun working relationship the whole time on set. For a film that is this intense and twisted and dark, it was just like, we just laughed. We had a really fun time.”
“So as much as there was like the love and the tension and the lustiness in the movie, on the outside, we were just goofing around,” he added.
Hathaway teased “Trap” actor, referring to his heartthrob status. She said, “You have every woman in the world lusting after you. I’m going to say nice things about you if you don’t quit it.”
Josh Hartnett, Anne Hathaway, and Dakota Johnson are starring in the much-anticipated psychological thriller Verity. The movie is set to release on October 2. The cast is on a press tour, where they have been sharing their experiences from the set.
