On March 13, Brenda Song appeared on The Jennifer Hudson Show to promote her Netflix series “Running Point.” The star revealed some interesting tidbits about her relationship with Macaulay Culkin. This included the fact that he still does not know how to drive. “The Suite Life of Zack & Cody” actor shared that she taught him how to drive and do laundry.
Calling Macaulay Culkin a “very unique human,” Brenda Song shared that he grew up in hotels because of his career as a child actor. She recalled being “shooketh” after learning that he’d never done laundry, given how she mastered the activity since childhood. S
ong further recalled taking her fiance out for a drive in the neighborhood. However, the experience, she revealed, was frightening. Brenda Song continued, “I was terrified, let me tell you. This 44-year-old man driving for the first time? I gotta hire someone to do that.”
The actor opened up about continuing her Christmas tradition of watching “Home Alone,” this time with Culkin when they began dating. The latter, who plays the lead role of Kevin McCallister, hadn’t seen the movie in over a decade and initially opted out of it.
However, eventually, they watched it together only for him to share behind-the-scenes stories that ruined the movie for her. Brenda Song quipped, “The movie holds such a special place in obviously so many people’s hearts, it’s just hard for me, that’s all.”
The couple had their engagement in 2022 and recently made an appearance at the 2025 Vanity Fair Oscars Party. The two were the first romantic couple to appear on the cover of Cosmopolitan in January this year. They share two sons, Dakota, 3, and Carson, 2.
