BNP Paribas Open’s official Instagram page shared the viral kiss video of Timothee Chalamet and Kylie Jenner. The two were filmed while attending a tennis match in Indian Wells. The clip, which has racked up almost 40 million views, showed the couple seemingly caught in an awkward moment. Jenner was seen trying to kiss Chalamet on the lips while the actor had his eyes open and on the court.
As the video amassed mixed reactions, forensic lipreader Jeremy Freeman uncovered the pair’s exchange for Daily Mail. According to the lip reader, Jenner requested a kissing photo with Chalamet during the match between Holger Rune of Denmark and France’s Ugo Humbert. Although the actor complied, he then told the socialite, “Wait a minute, love.” In the moment, Chalamet kept his eyes focused on the court.
Jenner then grabbed Chalamet’s face and pulled him in for a kiss. As the “A Complete Unknown” star kept his eyes on the match, the 27-year-old entrepreneur allegedly commanded, “Eye contact!” Chalamet then responded, “Go on,” and added, “Yum, yep.” Following the exchange, the actor sat back in his chair and exclaimed, “Ow!,” while seemingly grimacing.
Jenner laughed while caressing Chalamet’s stomach and asked, “Are you ok?” The Oscar nominee replied, “No problem, I’m good, don’t worry about it.” The mom of two then continued to laugh and the conversation soon turned to the match.
