Julia Fox shares photos of one of her quirkiest looks yet on Instagram
Julia Fox never misses an opportunity to make a statement with her fashion choices, and she recently wowed at the Oscars after-party in two completely different outfits. As per WWD, her first look was a reference to Sandro Botticelli’s famed painting “The Birth of Venus,” while her second fit was more contemporary. The model took the office siren trend and gave it her own twist, offering a deconstructed version of the same.
Fox opted for a crisp white shirt, which is quintessential to any corpcore look. However, she paired it with a corset, wearing it on top to blend the office siren trend with the underwear as an outerwear trend. Fox topped it off with a tie that was permanently “blowing in the wind,” giving the ensemble its windswept illusion. She also wore a tailored skirt whose inner lining showed as if it was upturned, thanks to the “wind.”
The quirky look wouldn’t be complete without fitting glam. Thus, Julia Fox wore her blonde hair permanently suspended in the air. Her hairstylist, John Novotny, referred to the hairdo as “frozen wind-swept bombshell hair.” Her makeup for the night was courtesy of MUA Kennedy, who went with a beautiful nude lip shade and matching eyeshadow to define her features. However, they went heavy on the blush to complete the windswept look.
The overall look was styled by Briana Andalore, who was the mastermind behind her Birth of Venus fit as well. They completed the look with a pair of heeled platform loafers, which added a hint of glam without taking away from the corpcore look. Julia Fox went on to call the outfit her “favorite look” that she has had the “honor of wearing” and even shared photos of the same on Instagram.
