Taylor Swift took to Instagram to share that she is doing her bit and contributing to relief efforts amid devastating LA fires. Swift posted a handwritten note on her Instagram Stories, briefly talking about her donations to some organizations. However, before that, she addressed the dire situation in California as the fires displaced thousands of families and caused colossal damage to the communities and neighborhoods.

The singer wrote that the “fires in California have devastated so many families” and how it has been “heartbreaking” for her to witness these disastrous events develop. “So much suffering, loss, and destruction,” the note stated. Swift believes the victims of these wildfires, many of whom lost everything, have embarked “on some of the most challenging times of their lives.” As the communities recover from their losses, she acknowledged the works of “many amazing organizations and groups banding together” to assist in the relief efforts after the LA fires.

In her note, Taylor Swift revealed she donated to at least 11 such organizations aiding the LA fire victims, including 211 LA and the California Community Foundation Fund. The list also included Direct Relief, the Greater Los Angeles Education Foundation, the Habitat For Humanity of Greater Los Angeles, the Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation, the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank, the Los Angeles Unified School District Education Foundation Emergency Relief Fund, MusiCares, and the Pasadena Educational Foundation Eaton Fire Response Fund.

Previously, the Grammy winner also made a $5 million donation to the Hurricane Milton and Helene relief fund. Moreover, in October, she donated to a Kansas City-based organization called Operation Breakthrough which provides monetary aid to underprivileged children.
