Cameron Mathison Shares Truly Tragic Video of His Burning LA Home

Cameron Mathison has shared a truly tragic video of his burning LA home, which is now just rubble. The Canadian actor and television host shared an update on social media and expressed his heartbreak over what is left of his place. Los Angeles County has been facing one of the most destructive and horrifying firestorms in recent history. This triggered mandatory evacuation for thousands of residents. Meanwhile, the wildfires devastatingly claimed the homes of many, including Mathison.

Cameron Mathison took to Instagram and shared the horrifying video of his LA home which is now reduced to rubble. The clip shows a massive scale of destruction in the video, while no standing structures are in sight. Moreover, the blaze is still burning through the remains. The surroundings are also covered with heavy smoke from the wildfires.

The actor noted in the post’s caption that he and his family are safe. However, Mathison added, “But this is what’s left of our beautiful home.” Mathison continued, “Our home where our kids were raised and where they wanted to raise their own someday.” The television host then penned, “Thanks to all who reached out and checked in. Can’t respond to all so wanted to give an update here.” He further added, “Sending so many prayers to everyone being affected by these fires.”

Following the video update, Mathison also appeared on a new Good Morning America segment and described the horror. He said, “I can’t sleep. I’ve lost my home and everything that I own. I have this hoodie and a pair of pants and two pairs of sneakers left.” Mathison further asserted, “It’s really important to focus on the things that we have and that we can be grateful for.” However, he noted that several other things, that are now lost, were “irreplaceable.”

Mathison also said, “Thinking that the hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of people that are going through the same thing, it’s, it’s just so so, just devastating.”
