Anthony Hopkins Reportedly Lost $6M Home in Hellish LA Fire

The hellish Palisades fire, one of the multiple wildfires, in Los Angeles has reportedly burned down Anthony Hopkins’ $6 million home. The Daily Mail reported that raging wildfires in California, which have now spread across thousands of acres, engulfed Hopkins’ house. He is among many A-listers, including Paris Hilton, Mandy Moore, James Woods, Leighton Meester, and Adam Brody, who lost their homes to the fast-paced bushfires. Moreover, the blaze has pushed thousands of residents to evacuate and destroyed countless homes and businesses.

The Daily Mail mentioned that Anthony Hopkins joined the long list of celebrities who lost their homes in the devastating Palisades fire in LA. Hopkins reportedly bought the $6 million classic colonial-style home in Pacific Palisades and recently witnessed it burned to the ground. The outlet also shared Backgrid’s before and after photos of his property to showcase the destruction the blaze has caused in these last few hours.

Elsewhere, Paris Hilton shared on Instagram that she is “heartbroken” after seeing her Malibu home burn down on live TV. Mandy Moore also shared a horrific video of the Eaton fire, one of the many bushfires currently raging across the region, destroying Altadena and her home there. Spencer Pratt, Heidi Montag, and Billy Crystal are among other stars who lost their homes.

According to the Department of Forestry and Fire Protection, the Palisades fire in LA, which burned down Anthony Hopkins’ home, started on Tuesday morning. The blaze sparked around 10:30 a.m. Southeast of Palisades Drive and has now spread over 17,000 acres with 0% containment. Wednesday witnessed the start of more wildfires in Los Angeles County such as the Sunset Fire. CNN further confirmed that there have been five deaths while many suffered injuries due to the flames.
