Mandy Moore Shares Horrific Video of Fire Destroying Altadena

Mandy Moore has shared a horrific video of the Eaton Fire destroying Altadena and penned a crushing note. Los Angeles County is under alert and facing one of the most destructive firestorms in recent history. Areas have been evacuated while the scorching fire continues to destroy homes and other buildings in the region. Several celebrities, including Moore, have taken to social media to give an update, and it’s absolutely heartbreaking.

Mandy Moore took to Instagram to share a horrifying video of the firestorm destroying Altadena. The actor also wrote a devastating note and expressed gratitude for being able to evacuate the region in time. Moore and her husband, Taylor Goldsmith, safely left their property with their children and pets. She wrote in the caption of the Instagram post, “I love you, Altadena. Grateful for my family and pets getting out last night before it was too late (and endless gratitude to friends for taking us in and bringing us clothes and blankets).”

Moore further described the horror amid the raging firestorms destructing communities in Los Angeles County. She continued, “Honestly, I’m in shock and feeling numb for all so many have lost, including my family.” The star added, “My children’s school is gone. Our favorite restaurants, leveled. So many friends and loved ones have lost everything too.” Despite the tragedy, Moore remains hopeful to return and rebuild their home again. She wrote, “Our community is broken but we will be here to rebuild together.”

Moore concluded the note by saying, “Sending love to all affected and on the front lines trying to get this under control.” According to the Los Angeles Times, the Eaton Fire has affected more than 10,000 acres as well as several structures in Altadena and Pasadena. As per the recent reporting, at least five people have lost their lives in wildfires burning across Los Angeles County.
