Nicole Kidman‘s business chic look came with an element of surprise as she attended The Hollywood Reporter Women in Entertainment 2024 gala. The actor was honored with the Sherry Lansing Leadership Award at this year’s edition of the prestigious annual event. Nicole Kidman gave businesswear a chic twist at The Hollywood Reporter Women in Entertainment 2024 gala. Styled by Jason Bolden, the actor wore a piece from Shushu/Tong’s fall 2023 collection. The formal black attire includes a tailored blue collar shirt with ruffle edges detailing in the front. The section is further attached to the full-sleeved black bodice.
The simple piece is elevated with a thin black bow above the bust. The top-like bodice is further paired with a pencil skirt featuring a slit on the side. Kidman completed the business chic look with sheer black stockings, pointed-toe pumps, and Roberto Coin jewelry. Meanwhile, makeup artist Kate Synnott worked on giving the actor perfect glam. Besides that, Kidman wore her signature blonde hair down with a side parting.
The gala was extra special for the Sherry Lansing Leadership Award honoree. At the event, Kidman shared a sweet moment with her daughter, Faith Margaret, and got photographed together. Additionally, during an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Kidman shared advice for young women looking to enter the entertainment industry. The actor said, “Some of the greatest advice, I think, is just always knowing that it’s a journey.” Kidman continued, “There’s huge ups, huge downs, and you keep on going.”
Kidman further shared she knew that when she was 14. The actor explained, “I didn’t know how, like, I just didn’t know where I was going to end up.” However, Kidman noted she knew she had the passion and was willing to work. She added, “I knew that I was willing to grow and willing to change, and constantly be a seeker.”
