POV Video Of Most Dangerous Moto Race In World Is Mesmerizing

The Isle of Man is a fascinating place. A small island between Britain and Ireland, it never became part of the United Kingdom and is self-governing to this day. It’s also home to the deadliest race in the world.

An estimated 270 men have died racing in the Isle of Man TT since 1910. The 2016 race has already claimed two lives this year alone. I even mentioned the killer race in a moto article I wrote earlier this year.

Knowing the race can be virtual suicide, this viral video may make your heart race a little faster.

The video below is a point-of-view shot from Michael Dunlop’s superbike as he recorded the fastest lap EVER at Isle of Man TT. It’s the first ever sub-17 minute lap of the Mountain Course, and he averaged 133.393 mph while doing so.

It’s also the first time in ages I’ve watched a 17 minute video online without John Oliver in it. And it was worth it.

I’m simply glad Michael is breaking records and not his legs.
