A leaked photo allegedly offering us our first look at the iPhone 7’s design have inspired realistic renders of the upcoming Apple smartphone.
The renders were based upon the leaked image posted by French tech site NowhereElse, though have obviously not been confirmed by Apple. That hasn’t prevented NowhereElse editor Steve Hemmerstoffer and Twitter user Veniamin Geskin from posting some graphic designs of what the devices would look like based upon the photo, though.
While the images do not feature the device’s display, they do feature a look of what the back of the iPhone 7 could potentially look like, with it appearing slimmer than the iPhone 6 and featuring a two-tone Apple logo design.
The renders also show a slight bump around the edge of the device’s rear-facing camera.
It’s impossible to know just how accurate these renders are, given that they’re based upon an unsubstantiated leaked photo of the device, but we’ll be able to find out later this year when Apple inevitably unveils their next flagship smartphone.
Here’s the supposedly leaked image the renders are based upon:
While it does certainly look like what you’d expect a new iPhone to look like, it isn’t exactly difficult to make a reasonable stab at the appearance of Apple’s upcoming smartphone, so take this rumor with a pinch of salt.
