We’ve waited 12 long years for a sequel to one of Pixar’s best animations Finding Nemo and finally we have our first taste of the forthcoming Finding Dory movie.
As the title suggests it looks like Dory will be the one to go missing this time as she heads out on an adventure to find her family. Hilarity ensues when Dory continuously forgets important details about where she’s headed. That forgetful fish!
You’ll feel a mixture of nostalgia and warmth as you hear the Ellen DeGeneres-voiced fish open her clumsy mouth for the first time as the producers toy with your heart strings with a swelling orchestral soundtrack.
The trailer was premiered on The Ellen Show right in the midst of Justin Bieber week which is almost too much to handle really.
At just under two minutes, there’s not a lot to sink your teeth into here but it’s like having familiar friends pop up on your doorstep…only to disappear after two minutes with a promise of returning for much longer soon.
It’s scheduled to be released in June 2016.
