Many characters returned in last week’s episode of Hell on Wheels, but the bulk of the drama still revolves around Cullen Bohannon (Anson Mount) and the Central Pacific Railroad!
In the wake of the murder of one of the Chinese immigrant workers, Chang (Byron Mann) organized a strike against the railroad. But soon enough, Chang made the strike all about himself and “his worth” while Bohannon attempted to get everyone back to work.
Now that the strike is over, Bohannon may be able to see a bigger threat on the horizon. In this week’s CraveOnline exclusive clip from Hell on Wheels Season 5 episode 5, Bohannon confronts Chang over his dealings with The Swede (Christopher Heyerdahl) and his flock of Mormons.
Well you know, Chang, The Swede did kill Bohannon’s lady friend, Lily Bell (Dominique McElligott), and he’s been one of Bohannon’s dangerous adversary for most of the series. That’s not the kind of thing you let go.
It turns out that Chang didn’t need to go far for fireworks. There’s going to be plenty of them in this episode, as violence erupts in Chinatown during the Tin Hau Don festival of Chinatown…and when Bohannon confronts The Swede.
