Back in December, Blizzard announced that they were starting the “Adopt Argi” campaign. It was a $10 pet for World of Warcraft, but the difference was that all the proceeds from this game add-on would be going directly to the American Red Cross to help fund continued relief efforts to fight the dangerous hemorrhagic virus known as Ebola.
The great part of it all is that this campaign only ran until just before the New Year. In less than a month, everyone came together to bring $1.9 million to the table. Amazing! Hopefully the funds help the ARC kick this deadly disease to the curb.
