Daredevil is coming to Netflix in 2015. We just don’t have an exact date.
However, Marvel Studios has released two new preview images from “Daredevil” in the latest issue of Entertainment Weekly. And while the “Man Without Fear” isn’t seen in his iconic red suit, this is the best picture to date of Daredevil’s black costume.
Although Daredevil’s original costume in the comics was a yellow suit that looked like a blind man designed it, that black costume was retconned into Daredevil’s history in Frank Miller and John Romita Jr.’s Daredevil: Man Without Fear miniseries. And yes, that is Charlie Cox in costume as Daredevil.
Entertainment Weekly also released a much larger image of Cox as Matt Murdock, Daredevil’s alter ego who works as a lawyer by day before busting heads at night.
Joining Cox in “Daredevil” are Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson, Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Rosario Dawson as Claire “The Night Nurse” Temple” and Vondie Curtis Hall as reporter Ben Urich. Vincent D’Onofrio co-stars as Wilson Fisk, the man better known as the Kingpin of Crime.
Marvel’s “Daredevil” will presumably premiere on Netflix in the first half of 2015, since Marvel’s “AKA Jessica Jones” is also slated to debut on Netflix in 2015.
