I’m not quite sure how many of you feel regarding Destiny’s loot system, but here’s my feelings:
It takes far too much time and too much effort in comparison to the rewards you get. This very same issue plagued Diablo III for a long while, nearly all the way up until the release of the game on consoles.
Seeing an exploit like this being used by everyone came as no surprise then, because there was finally a way out of having to go on strikes endlessly only to receive a very measly loot reward. Let’s not deny that you would likely have tried this at least several times with your friends.
Anyway, Bungie nerfed it. They said they reduced the effectiveness of economy exploits; they’ll likely be watching very closely for this sort of thing in the future. Happy loot farming! Hope every painful hour and day is worth it for that +10 Light chest armor.
Don’t fret, though. New Destiny Xur locations have been uncovered.
