Listening to music while you game has been a “thing” for years now, reaching all the way back to the original Xbox at least, but apparently the idea was lost on PC platforms. Up until now, that is.
While you can indeed use your traditional browser to play music while you kill some fools in Battlefield 4, it is rather ungainly and requires switching back and forth between the desktop and the game interface. Valve has a new solution for you.
You may now integrate your music library with Steam, and it is controllable through the traditional Steam in-game interface. That means no more clumsy minimizing and maximizing of windows. About time, eh?
