Last season on “The Walking Dead,” the prison fell and the survivors led by Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) were scattered in the horrific aftermath. Eventually, most of the survivors were drawn to a place called Terminus by a promise of sanctuary and hope.
And that promise was a God damn lie.
Terminus was a trap and it was heavily implied that its residents were eating the poor souls that wandered in there. Rick may have said that they’re screwing with the wrong people, but it doesn’t look good for Team Grimes.
AMC has released a new trailer for “The Walking Dead” Season 5 which shows the survivors at the mercy of Gareth (Andrew J. West), the enigmatic leader of Terminus. But the survivors have one thing to offer: Dr. Eugene Porter (Josh McDermitt), a man who says that he can end the zombie plague if they can get him to Washington D.C. to reclaim the world for the living.

In the trailer, Rick is reunited with his baby, Judith while Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) and Carol Peletier (Melissa McBride) are seen together for the first time in ages. Oh… and there’s plenty of zombie killing action to tide you over until next month.
“The Walking Dead” Season 5 will premiere on Sunday, October 12 on AMC.
