The premiere of “Star Wars Rebels” is just over a month away. And as the countdown continues, Disney and Lucasfilm have released the third of four “Star Wars Rebels” shorts.
In the first short, we met Hera (Vanessa Marshall), Kanan (Freddie Prinze Jr.) and Chopper on their ship, the Ghost, while the second short focused on the Mandalorian warrior/artist, Sabine Wren (Tiya Sircar).
The third short is called “Entanglement” and it places Zeb Orrelios (Steven Blum) in the spotlight. Zeb’s look is based upon Ralph McQuarrie’s original designs for Chewbacca, but he’s no Wookie. Instead, “Entanglement” establishes Zeb as a warrior who has a sense of justice and a desire to fight the Empire anywhere and anytime… much to the chagrin of his teammate, Kanan.

“Star Wars Rebels” will premiere as a one hour movie event on Disney Channel on October 3. Then on Monday, October 13, “Star Wars Rebels” moves to its regular timeslot on Disney XD for the weekly series.
The one hour “Star Wars Rebels” premiere will be released as a standalone DVD the following day, October 14. The DVD release will also include all four “Star Wars Rebels” shorts, including the final short that will be released early next week.
