Is something rotten in the state of horror? Most Craved takes a look at the disappointing box office performance of Deliver Us From Evil and asks whether audiences have soured on the supernatural subgenre, whether Hollywood’s standards for a horror movie’s success are WAY too high nowadays, and what the next big thing in scary movies will be. Mummies? Classic horror reboots? What do you think is going to break out next?

Also, holy cow, have you seen Dawn of the Planet of the Apes yet? The hosts of Most Craved did, and although they disagree about whether it’s awe-inspiringly great or just “okay,” they do all say it’s got some of the best CGI they’ve ever seen. But wasn’t the last movie technically the dawn of the Planet of the Apes? Isn’t this sequel the one in which they technically “rise?”
Hosts William Bibbiani (CraveOnline), Jenna Busch (GeekNation) and special guest Witney Seibold (Nerdist) are in tha house, asking all the important questions (and a few of the dumb ones), and squealing about the coolness of chimps on horseback.
Keep coming back every Thursday for a new argument-filled installment of Most Craved, and follow this week’s hosts on Twitter at @WilliamBibbiani, @JennaBusch and @WitneySeibold to continue the debate all week long!
