In Case You Missed It: Kings Complete Dramatic Comeback Over Blackhawks

Los Angles knows how to keep things interesting, even on ice.

The Kings, who already completed one of the most epic comebacks in professional sports history by winning four in a row to defeat the Sharks after being down 0-3 in the first round of the playoffs, made a dramatic come from behind finish Sunday night in Chicago to win the Western Conference title.

First, the goal that got the rally started — down 3-4 with just over 7 minutes to play, Kings forward Marian Gaborik scored off a rebound via backhand to tie the game.

Then, the heart clincher. The nail in the coffin. The bullet in the back.

Kings defenseman Alec Martinez throws a prayer that just happens to skip by Blackhawks goalie Corey Crawford for the overtime win and the Western Conference championship.

Los Angeles is now 7-0 in elimination games and now have three Game 7 wins on the road this postseason. They will host the New York Rangers in Game 1 Wednesday night.
