Nintendo has filed a trademark for “Delta Emerald”, which suggests that the Game Boy Advance title Pokémon Emerald could be getting a remake on the 3DS alongside the previously announced Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire.
Emerald is the final third-generation Pokémon game that was released and this trademark, which was filed earlier this month in Japan, may indicate that it will join Ruby and Sapphire in receiving a remake on Nintendo’s latest handheld console.
Though nothing has been formally announced by Nintendo as of yet, this news could indicate that we’re going to receive some more Pokémon goodness come E3, with an announcement perhaps being made during Nintendo’s digital-only presentation. This is all speculation at this moment in time, but this newly filed trademark would certainly suggest that Nintendo is planning to do something regarding Pokémon Emerald
