When it comes to DC animated series, Bruce Timm has an unmatched legacy dating back to the ‘90s which includes “Batman: The Animated Series,” “Superman: The Animated Series,” “Batman Beyond,” “Justice League,” “Justice League Unlimited” and his most recent series, “Green Lantern: The Animated Series.”
Additionally, Timm was a supervising producer on several DC direct-to-video feature films until he stepped down from that position last year. However, Timm will return to Batman this Wednesday in a special animated short entitled “Batman: Strange Days.”
In tomorrow’s episode of the webseries, “DC All Access,” co-host Tiffany Smith interviewed Timm about the Batman 75th Anniversary animated shorts. However, CraveOnline is proud to present an exclusive clip from that interview that won’t be a part of tomorrow’s “DC All Access.”
For our exclusive video, Timm reveals the original plans for the Batman 75th Anniversary shorts and expands upon his desire to create a Batman period piece that was a throwback to Batman’s origins.
Timm also seems to indicate that there’s a “Batman Beyond” short that was also created for the Batman 75th Anniversary celebration.
“Batman: Strange Days” will premiere immediately after “Teen Titans Go!” on Wednesday, April 9.
