When you’re having a bad day it can often feel like everyone is against you, but in David Moyes’ case, he’d have every right to think that: even Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand’s magazine is sticking the boot into him when he’s down.
The online #5 Magazine, which Ferdinand is the brand ambassador of, published an article titled ‘Time is Running Out for Moyes’, which suggested that the much-maligned manager didn’t have long left at his post at Manchester United following a terrible season for the club.
However, the magazine backtracked after the article was published, changing its title to “There’s No Let Up Due for David Moyes”, before removing the article altogether.
This piece comes after the report yesterday that Moyes may have only two games to prove that he’s worthy of remaining the manager of Manchester United, and Everton youth academy manager Kevin Sheedy claiming that Moyes was “terrible” with his youth team during his time at the Merseyside club.
